The Service and Installation Coordinator for Solar Power-One will be responsible for coordinating service and installation. This includes scheduling services, installation, and inspection while creating a positive customer experience. This person must have a strong professional phone, writing, follow-up, and problem-solving skills. They should be very organized and able to adapt to change with a positive attitude.


  • Maintain installation and service schedule
  • Schedule inspections after installation
  • Coordinate all equipment necessary for installation
  • Communicate with the customer throughout the installation


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to adapt in a fast pace changing environment
  • Enjoys working with customers on the phone
  • Passion for customer service and support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft and related applications
  • Knowledge of the service or security system industry is preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone and email
  • Ability to work independently to make decisions and solve problems
  • The propensity to stay calm and reasonable under pressure
  • Experience in solar systems is preferred but not required

Physical Demands
The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.
